Miguel Palomino Segura successfully defended his PhD thesis, which was presented at the University of Bern on October 30th, 2018. His thesis title was “Role of Innate Immunity in the Protection against Influenza Infection” and the work has been done in the Infection and Immunity lab group head by Dr. Santiago F. González at the Institute for Research in Biomedicine, in Bellinzona. His PhD committee was composed by Prof. Andrew Hemphill from the University of Bern (CH) and by Prof. Charaf Benarafa from the University of Bern (CH), while his external examiner was Dr. Salvador Iborra from the Complutense University of Madrid (ES). Miguel Palomino Segura received the title of “PhD in Immunology” from the Graduate Cell Biology school of University of Bern.
